The warmest time of the year at Twin Lakes arrives with high temperatures in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 60's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 20's while Twin Lakes night low temperatures throughout the wintertime are in the 0's. A lake nearby is Little Carnelian Lake, and everyone close by loves skiing at Trollhaugen. This lake is so wonderful.       Gotta ski! Wild Mountain is a good place to do that; if you don't mind getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Apple River. Twin Lakes is perfect enough to spend more than a day at, Golden Acres is a perfect local campground, and Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Stillwater, Mn is a pleasant spot to get some rest.
