Mississippi National River & Recreation Area is a good spot in the vicinity of Twin Lakes, and gorgeous scenery and great skiing is what you get at Buck Hill. This lake is so wonderful. Twin Lakes is not the only place close by, Ryan Lake is a close by lake, and enjoy a round of golf at Centerbrook Golf Course. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the entertaining stuff at Twin Lakes. You could also check       out Crystal Lake while you're here at Twin Lakes; it's nearby, and if you need a spot to stay Country Inn And Suites By Carlson Brooklyn Center is a pleasant choice. From a precipitation point of view Twin Lakes is a reasonably common place; the month of June is the wettest with most of the rain; February is when it's the driest. For the duration of the summertime at Twin Lakes highs are mostly in the 80's; the overnight is slightly cooler of course, mostly                  in the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 20's while Twin Lakes night low temperatures during the winter are in the 0's.
