There is a great hiking trail right next door to Twin Lakes called the Giese Truck Trail, and Rice River Pool Dam has fine water scenery. The East White Pine Truck Trail is a great hiking trail near Twin Lakes. Lakes? Sure, Mandy Lake is in the vicinity. Any time is a pleasant time at Twin Lakes if you go for the outdoors. Twin Lakes gets a typical amount of precipitation; the       month of June is the wettest with most of the rain; the driest of the months is February. Summer at Twin Lakes arrives with high temperatures in the 80's. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 50's.
