There's whitewater on Kettle River for all you adrenaline people; there is a great hiking trail nearby called the Giese Truck Trail. Having a great time at Lake Twelve is uncomplicated. You'll hit upon a lovely lake called Bass Lake near Lake Twelve, and Travelodge Hinckley is a nice location to get some rest. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Snake River, and on a great       day you can take a hike along the Herubin Truck Trail. Bremen Woods Resort and Campground is a fine campground here, and nearby you stumble on the East White Pine Truck Trail which is a splendid hiking trail. All through the summer, highs frequently are in the 80's at Lake Twelve. When the night sets in temperatures dip down into the 50's. Through the winter highs are in the 10's; overnight lows at Lake Twelve through the wintertime regularly sink into the-10's.                  This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Lake Twelve is great fun, Waldheim Resort is a great local campground, and after a long day outdoors Hinckley-Days Inn is a great location to spend a night or two.
