Triumph Lake is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. Triumph Creek is near Triumph Lake and is always a joy to visit; get your heart pumping on the great whitewater of Vermilion River. This lake is so wonderful. Head up to Giants Ridge and strap some skis to your feet, and you can have a delightful hiking adventure along the Beatty Portage. This spot is so good, just check out all the entertaining things to do close to Triumph Lake. Sioux River Campground is a tremendous local campground, and do take a hike on the Canfield Portage. During the summer months highs here at Triumph Lake get into the 70's. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 40's. During the winter highs are in the 10's while the cold winter nights at Triumph Lake are in the-20's.
