Tucker River is a great local stream, and there are other places here than Trip Lake, for example East Dawkins Lake. Trip Lake gets a typical amount of rainfall; the month with most of the rain is August while February is generally the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Not far from Trip Lake, you'll hit upon Lonely Lake which is a pretty lake, and if you came for an overnight stay Crescent Lake Campground is a brilliant place to camp. Throughout the months
