That right there is loads already, but it goes on; Thorson Lake has it all. Thorson Lake is not the only spot close by, Amos Lake is a close by lake, and Alexandria-Days Inn is a magnificent site to get some rest. Stay the night at Berndt's Kamp Kappy Resort, and at Thorson Lake you always meet someone from Alexandria. This lake is so wonderful. Runestone Bed and Breakfast is a good campground nearby;       a lake close by is Barsness Lake. A good nearby hotel is Lakes Area Motel and RV Park; close to Thorson Lake you come across a golf course called Red Rock Golf Course. The scenery at Minister Lake Dam near Thorson Lake is stunning, and there's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at close by Andes Tower Hill. Not much rain falls here at Thorson Lake; the wettest month of the year is generally June, that's the one that rains the most, and February on the                  other hand is the driest. The warmest time of the year at Thorson Lake comes with high temperatures in the 80's. Summer night lows dip down to the 50's.
