Why not camp at Devil Lake Campground since you're here at Thompson Lake, and East Bay Suites is a perfect spot to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. Paddling on Cascade River is so much fun, and going for a hike on the North Shore State Trail is always a nice adventure. The slopes of Lutsen are so inviting nobody can resist; you can go for a hike on the South Lake Portage. This is no location       for people who don’t like to have a good time. If you came for an overnight stay Cascade River Campground is a wonderful site to camp, and Junco Creek is right next door to Thompson Lake and is always a bliss to take a look at. Thompson Lake gets a normal amount of annual precipitation; during the month of August you get the most rain around here while February is commonly the driest month. All through the summer months at Thompson Lake temperatures are ordinarily                  in the 70's. All through the moonlight hours it's generally in the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 10's, and during the dark hours in the winter at Thompson Lake temperatures fall to the-10's.
