The annual rainfall here at Thirteen Lake is about average; the month with most of the rain is June, and February is the month with the least moisture. All through the long summer days at Thirteen Lake temperatures are generally in the 80's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 50's. Through the wintertime the highs are frequently in the 10's, and after the sun is down during       the winter temperatures at Thirteen Lake fall into the-10's. Don't leave Thirteen Lake without first going for a hike along the Giese Truck Trail, and a brilliant site to camp here at Thirteen Lake is Waldheim Resort. Good hiking is available along the East White Pine Truck Trail, and why not camp at Bremen Woods Resort and Campground while you're here at Thirteen Lake. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Travelodge Hinckley is a wonderful                  location to spend a night or two, and there's whitewater on Snake River for all you thrill seekers. There are other sites here than Thirteen Lake, for example Bass Lake; you can go for a hike on the Herubin Truck Trail. And if that's not sufficient, there's a heap more to do in the neighborhood of Thirteen Lake.
