This place rocks, just check out all the fun stuff to do in the vicinity of Third Lake. Hit the slopes at Wild Mountain close by, and do take a hike on the Sunrise Ferry Hiking Trail. St. Croix River has a good whitewater paddling spot close by, and why not spend some time golfing at a nearby golf course like Chisago Lakes Golf Course. An average amount of rainfall       falls at Third Lake; June is when you get the most rain here; the driest month is February. High temperatures at Third Lake during the warm days of summer are in the 80's with nighttime lows in the 50's. All through the winter highs are in the 10's, and nighttime lows at Third Lake through the wintertime mostly descend into the-10's. This lake is so wonderful. A brilliant close by hotel is Americas Best Value Inn, and if you came for an overnight stay Whispering                  Bay Resort is a magnificent site to camp. Lakes are wonderful; Bone Lake is a lake that's next to Third Lake, and if you're looking for a magnificent journey, Saint Croix National Scenic River is quite near. This lake is so wonderful. On a tremendous day you can check out Pine Lake, a swamp right next door to Third Lake, and you're most likely into lakes, Fourth Lake is one of those close by.
