You can run the rapids of Big Fork near Thimble Lake; on a perfect day you can take a hike along the Valley River Trail. Not far from Thimble Lake, you'll find Barrett Lake which is a charming lake; if you came for an overnight stay Thistledew Campground is a nice location to camp. For the duration of the months       of summer at Thimble Lake highs are usually in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 50's. Highs through the wintertime are usually in the 10's, and throughout the dark hours in the winter at Thimble Lake temperatures descend to the-20's. Yeah, come here to Thimble Lake for a nice time. Why not take a look at Busties Lake Dam while you're here, and Spider Shores Resort is a good local campground.
