This lake is so wonderful. Upper Red Lake is a nearby lake that you could stop at, and Thief Lake Dam has nice water scenery. For the period of the summertime at Thief Lake highs are regularly in the 70's. Summer nighttime lows plunge down to the 50's. All through the wintertime the highs are ordinarily in the 10's while Thief Lake overnight low temperatures during the winter are in the-20's. Thief Lake is commonly       a rather waterless place; the month with most of the rain is June; February is when it's the driest. Wheeler's Point Resort is a brilliant campground nearby; there's wonderful hiking along the Spina Trail. Bayview Lodge is a delightful local campground, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Thief Lake; Thorhult Waskish Trail is a perfect local trail.
