Summertime highs at Taylor Lake frequently tend to be in the 80's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 50's. For the period of the wintertime highs are frequently in the 10's, and throughout the dark hours in the winter at Taylor Lake temperatures sink to the-10's. Camping is available at Andersen's Four Seasons Resort, and the Sugar Lake Trail System offers hiking at its best. Don't leave       Taylor Lake without first going for a hike along the Johnson Lake Trail System; if you get bored of Taylor Lake you could also stop at close by Upper Menton Lake. The annual precipitation here at Taylor Lake is about average; the month with most of the rain is June, and the driest of the months is February. Taylor Lake is not far at all from Brainerd. This lake is so wonderful.
