After a long day outdoors Americinn - White Bear Lake, Mn is a good spot to spend a night or two, and if you've had enough of Tamarack Lake, Otter Lake is nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Afton Alps is a tremendous local ski area, and if you came for an overnight stay River Bend Mobile Home Park is a great spot to camp. Be careful coming to Tamarack Lake, you might not ever want to return home again. Why not camp at Northernaire Motel while you're here at Tamarack Lake, and there are plenty of people from Minneapolis-St. Paul-Bloomington here.
