Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Cross River, and why not camp at Temperance River Campground if you're here at Tail Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Feather Lake is a nearby lake that you could pop by; if you came for an overnight stay Sawbill Campground is a good place to camp. Tail Lake gets a common amount of yearly rainfall; June is when you get the most rain here, and the driest       month of the year is February. High temperatures at Tail Lake during the summer months are in the 70's with overnight lows in the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 10's with temperatures at Tail Lake dipping down into the-10's through winter nights. This place, Tail Lake, it simply has so much outdoors entertaining stuff. If you get bored of Tail Lake, you could also check out nearby Soda Lake, and if you need a site to stay Americinn                  - Tofte, Mn is a nice choice. Going for a hike on the Honeymoon Trail is always a nice adventure. Gotta ski! Lutsen is a brilliant place to do that; there are wonderful locations to discover along the Rib Lake Trail.
