Tack Lake is a nice lake to visit. This lake is so wonderful. Camping is available at Poplar River Campground, and if you need a place to stay Americinn - Tofte, Mn is a fine choice. The yearly rain here at Tack Lake is about average; August is the wettest month with most rain, and February is when it's the driest. Dry warm beds await you at Caribou Highlands Lodge, and Tack Lake is right by the Honeymoon Trail. This is a tremendous region for folks who like

| | lakes. Rice Lake is a lake close by, and hiking along the Pine Portage is brilliant fun. The warmest time of the year at Tack Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 50's. Highs through the winter are typically in the 10's, and night lows in the-10's for Tack Lake. Rib Lake Trail. This lake is so wonderful. A delightful place to camp here at Tack Lake is Crescent Lake Campground, and the slopes of Lutsen are so inviting noone can resist. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always go to close by Iowa Lake, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Temperance River.
