Drift down the rapids of Temperance River in a kayak, naturally you could also visit Iowa Lake since you're here; it's not far at all. Lutsen has nice slopes and a friendly staff; if you're here you can take a hike along the Honeymoon Trail. Camping at Crescent Lake Campground is always a fine experience; on a delightful day you can take a hike along the Rib Lake Trail. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 70's to Tack Lake. During the moonlight hours it's regularly in the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 10's, and after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Tack Lake drop into the-10's. This lake is so wonderful. Caribou Highlands Lodge is a great location to get some rest, and the Pine Portage is a wonderful hiking trail nearby. This lake is so wonderful.
