There's so much to do here at Swede Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Austin's Swamp is a wonderful spot for that. And if that's not enough, there's a lot more to do right next door to Swede Lake. Rodeway Inn Pine River is a splendid site to get some rest. Summertime brings highs in the 70's to Swede Lake with nighttime lows in the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs       in the 10's while the cold winter nights at Swede Lake are in the-10's. Hiking along the North Country Trail is pleasant fun, and of course, this is a magnificent area for folks who like lakes, Potshot Lake is a lake in the neighborhood. The smiling people of Brainerd like to hang out nearby, and a wonderful nearby hotel is Americinn - Pequot Lakes, Mn. This lake is so wonderful. Swede Lake is right by the Goose Lake Trail System, and if you came to camp Deer Acres                  is a wonderful place to do that.
