If you need a place to stay Best Western Northwoods Lodge is a magnificent choice. All through the summer here at Sutton Lake, high temperatures usually reach the 80's. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into the 50's. During the winter the highs are typically in the 10's; winter nights come       with lows in the-10's to Sutton Lake. Camping at Boulder Campground is always a great experience, and there are some great whitewater spots on Lower Tamarack River. An average amount of rainfall falls at Sutton Lake; of all the months in a year June is the one with the most rain, and February meanwhile is the driest month. There are tremendous spots to discover along the Markville Snowmobile Trail; not far from Sutton Lake you'll find Keene Lake which is                  a wonderful lake. Man, is there a load of cool stuff to do close to Sutton Lake. After a long day outdoors Lodge at Crooked Lake is a great place to spend a night or two, and there's whitewater on Upper Tamarack River for all you adrenaline rush seekers. This lake is so wonderful.
