Sunken Lake is always a pleasure to visit. Go for a hike on the Cutfoot Sioux National Recreation Trail, and camping at East Seelye Campground is always a pleasant experience. You think that's enough? Just getting warmed up. Dry warm beds await you at Trappers Landing Lodge. There's glorious hiking along the Turtle Mound Trail, and why not stop by Amik Lake Dam since you're here. Summer brings highs in the 70's to Sunken Lake. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 50's. For the period of the wintertime this place gets highs in the 10's; overnight lows in the-10's for Sunken Lake. | |

This lake is so wonderful. Sunken Lake is wonderful enough to spend more than a day at, West Seelye Campground is a wonderful local campground; Battle Point is close by and always brilliant to stop at.
