     Why not take a refreshing hike along the Simpson Creek Trail System, and there are other sites here than Sunken Lake, for example Dry Creek Lake. Yep, outdoors exciting things to do are in fact plentiful here at Sunken Lake. near Sunken Lake you'll find a wooded neighborhood called Cutfoot Experimental Forest; Sunken Lake is right by the Turtle Mound Trail. Summertime at Sunken Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 70's. For the duration of the moonlight  
   hours it's usually in the 50's. Daytime highs throughout the wintertime are in the 10's; night lows during the winter for Sunken Lake tend to be in the-10's. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Sunken Lake; Cutfoot Sioux National Recreation Trail is a brilliant local trail, and lakes are such calm places, why not explore Amik Lake.
A spree to nearby Battle Point is very relaxing; Sunken Lake is great enough to spend more than
 
               a day at, West Seelye Campground is a great local campground. Trappers Landing Lodge is a perfect site to get some rest. A pleasant place to camp here at Sunken Lake is East Seelye Campground, and the scenery at Amik Lake Dam is beautiful.
The yearly precipitation here at Sunken Lake is about average; the month of June is the wettest with most of the rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
