Go for a hike on the Cutfoot Sioux National Recreation Trail, and camping at East Seelye Campground is always a pleasant experience. You think that's enough? Just getting warmed up. Dry warm beds await you at Trappers Landing Lodge. A wooded area in the vicinity of Sunken Lake is Cutfoot Experimental Forest; magnificent hiking is available along the Simpson Creek Trail System. An average amount of rain falls       at Sunken Lake; the wettest month of the year is generally June, that's the one that rains the most, and February on the other hand is the driest. There's glorious hiking along the Turtle Mound Trail, and why not stop by Amik Lake Dam since you're here. Summer brings highs in the 70's to Sunken Lake. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 50's. For the period of the wintertime this place gets highs in the 10's; overnight lows in the-10's for Sunken Lake.                  This lake is so wonderful.
