This lake is so wonderful. In case you don’t mind getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Little Fork River, and a striking lake like Thistledew Lake is a fine location to stop at. Go for a hike on the Holstrum Spur Trail; Stony Brook Campground is a fine campground nearby. If you came for an overnight stay Thistledew Campground is a great spot to camp,       and don't leave Sun Lake without first going for a hike along the Wilson Lake Trail. Summertime brings highs in the 70's to Sun Lake while nighttime lows are usually in the 50's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 10's while the cold winter nights at Sun Lake are in the-10's. Going for a hike on the Valley River Trail is always a great adventure, and you'll find a charming lake called Lily Lake. Sun Lake gets a normal amount of rainfall; the month of                  June is the wettest with most of the rain, and February is when it's the driest.
