While you're here at Sun Lake you can take a hike along the Holstrum Spur Trail; you can stay the night at Stony Brook Campground. Summertime highs at Sun Lake generally tend to be in the 70's with night lows in the 50's. During the winter highs are       generally in the 10's, and during the dark hours in the winter at Sun Lake temperatures drop to the-10's. Sun Lake is a good place of typical rainfall; of all the months in a year June is the one with the most rain while February is frequently the driest month.
