Camping at Royal Oaks is always a brilliant experience; there's whitewater on Mississippi River for all you adrenaline rush seekers. Stump Lake is a good spot of common rainfall; most of the rain falls through June, and February is when it's the driest. A great place to camp here at Stump Lake is El Rancho Manana Campground; if you're dropping by from St. Cloud, you won't be the       only one. If you have a thing about the outdoors, you'll fancy Stump Lake. AmericInn Avon is a good place to get some rest, and after a long day outdoors Super 8 Motel - St. Joseph/St. Cloud Area is a good place to spend a night or two. Summertime highs at Stump Lake generally tend to be in the 80's with nighttime lows in the 50's. For the duration of the wintertime this place gets highs in the 10's while the cold winter nights at Stump Lake are in the-10's.                  There are some wonderful whitewater spots on Sauk River, and wonderful scenery and wonderful skiing is what you obtain at Powder Ridge.
