Stuart Lake is frequently a reasonably dry site; June is when you get the most rain here, and February is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Thumper Pond Resort is a good spot to get some rest, needless to say you could also stop at Ellingson Lake since you're here; it's not far at all. Not far from Stuart Lake you acquire some perfect water scenery at East Battle Lake Dam, and Stuart Lake is       a tremendous site to visit for more than one day, Sunset Beach Resort and Campground is a tremendous site to camp nearby. There are plenty of folks from Fergus Falls here at Stuart Lake; you can stay the night at Scenic Point Resort. Through the days of summer at Stuart Lake temperatures are ordinarily in the 80's. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 50's. Through the wintertime the highs are ordinarily in the 10's, and after the sun is down through                  the wintertime temperatures at Stuart Lake sink into the-10's.
