Stingy Lake is located in the Mesabi Range. This lake is so wonderful. You could also stop at Bower Lake since you're here at Stingy Lake; it's close by, and hiking along the Snake Trail is delightful fun. Yeah, come up here to the Mesabi Range for a fine time. If you come at the right time of year, Little Fork River offers some nice whitewater.
All the outdoors entertaining stuff in the Mesabi Range will keep you coming back again and again. Why not camp

Camping is available at C C Campground 717, and the Stingy Lake Trail offers hiking at its best. What a site this is for outdoors people. Nearby lakes? There is plenty to do at the resort too. Swan Lake is known for its water clarity throughout the summer. Fishing is almost always good with a healthy supply of sunfish, crappies, northern and walleyes. Largemouth bass are definitely the most sought after fish the past few years with most of them released again after they are weighed and their picture is taken for our ''fishing report'' board. Our swimming area is safely marked off with no dangerous drop offs. We have plenty of sand for sunbathing and sandcastle building.
