What a nice lake Stingy Lake is. After a long day outdoors Hibbing Super 8 Motel is a magnificent spot to spend a night or two. Lakes are perfect; Lake Twentyfour is a lake that's right next door to Stingy Lake. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors cool things the Mesabi Range has to offer. Stay the night at Stony Brook Campground, and if the weather is great, you can go for a hike along the Stingy Lake Trail. This lake is so wonderful. There's whitewater

| | on Sturgeon River for all you adrenaline kick people, and there is a glorious hiking trail close by called the Snake Trail.
The Mesabi Range scenery is always beautiful. All the outdoors fun things next to Stingy Lake will keep you coming back persistently. There is plenty to do at the resort too. Swan Lake is known for its water clarity throughout the summer. Fishing is almost always good with a healthy supply of sunfish, crappies, northern and walleyes. Largemouth bass are definitely the most sought after fish the past few years with most of them released again after they are weighed and their picture is taken for our ''fishing report'' board. Our swimming area is safely marked off with no dangerous drop offs. We have plenty of sand for sunbathing and sandcastle building.
