Stevens Lake is not the only place close by, Willow Lake is a close by lake, and if the weather is good, you can go for a hike along the Minnesota-Wisconsin Boundary State Trail. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Americas Best Value Inn is a good place to spend a night or two, and Edelweiss Campground is a perfect local campground. For the period       of the summer at Stevens Lake highs are usually in the 80's. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 10's, and winter nights come with lows in the-10's to Stevens Lake. Having a magnificent time at Stevens Lake is easy. Get your heart pumping on the splendid whitewater of Kettle River, and Wilderness Campgrounds is a magnificent campground nearby.
