Summertime at Stevens Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 50's. During the winter the highs are commonly in the 10's, and nighttime lows through the winter for Stevens Lake tend to be in the-10's. Have a tremendous hiking adventure along the Markville       Snowmobile Trail, and as expected McDermott Creek is a gorgeous stream that is worth stopping at. After a long day outdoors Lodge at Crooked Lake is a perfect spot to spend a night or two, and if you're here you can take a hike along the Minnesota-Wisconsin Boundary State Trail. Stevens Lake is a good site of normal rainfall; June is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest of the months is February. A splendid place to camp here at Stevens Lake is Boulder Campground; there's whitewater on Upper Tamarack River for all you adrenaline people.
