On a good day at Sterling Lake you can take a hike along the Crooked Lake Trail, and dry warm beds await you at Grand Ely Lodge Resort and Conference Center. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes? Sure, Bibon Lake is around here, and nearby you find Peterson Bay. From a precipitation point of view Sterling Lake       is a rather common place; most of the rain falls through June, and the driest month is February. I can't stop, cause I'm havin' a tremendous time here at Sterling Lake. Gateway North Outfitters is a brilliant local campground; if you're here you can take a hike along the Stuart Portage. Why not camp at Camp Du Nord since you're here at Sterling Lake, and there are other locations here than Sterling Lake, for example Rush Lake. All through the summertime                  here at Sterling Lake, high temperatures mostly get into the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures sink down into the 40's.
