Stauffer Lake beyond doubt is in the middle of a striking outdoors paradise. Crossings by GrandStay Inn and Suites is a wonderful place to get some rest. There's so much to do here at Stauffer Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Rush Haven Resort is a great spot for that. After a long day outdoors Budget Host Inn-Stes N. Branch       is a nice place to spend a night or two, and do visit Linderman Lake, it's a striking lake. High temperatures at Stauffer Lake throughout the warm days of summer are in the 80's, and the night is quite chillier of course, mostly in the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 10's with winter lows in the-10's overnight here at Stauffer Lake. Whitewater paddling is splendid on Snake River, and while you're here, you could also go to wonderful Alexis                  Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Purple Hawk Country Club is a golf course near Stauffer Lake; Snake River has a brilliant whitewater paddling spot close by.
