There are other locations here than Stahl Lake, for example Popp Slough, and Powder Ridge is a very popular ski area close at hand. The yearly rainfall here at Stahl Lake is about average; through the month of June you get the most rain around here while January is commonly the driest month. This is no location for people who don’t like to enjoy themselves. A nice close by hotel is Best Western Victorian Inn.       SUPER 8 MOTEL - HUTCHINSON is a good site to get some rest, and camping is available at Collinwood Lake Park. Camping at Piepenburg Park is always a delightful experience, and French Lake is a splendid lake close by. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Stahl Lake you can play some golf at Crow River Golf Club, and lots of folks from Hutchinson come here. At Stahl Lake during the long summer days highs are in the 80's. Throughout the dark hours                  of summer temperatures fall down into the 60's.
