East Bay is close to Square Lake and is a magnificent location to pop by, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Stuart Portage. Enjoy a round of golf at Babbitt Golf Course not far from Square Lake, needless to say you could also take a look at Blueberry Lake while you're here; it's not far at all. Summertime brings highs in       the 70's to Square Lake. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 40's. All through the winter this place gets highs in the 10's, and during the dark hours in the winter at Square Lake temperatures fall to the-20's. Silver Rapids Lodge Restaurant is a good campground nearby, and if you need a location to stay Budget Host Motel Ely is a delightful choice. Square Lake gets a typical amount of precipitation; June is the wettest                  month with most rain; February is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors enjoyable stuff the area near Square Lake has to offer. Square Lake is a tremendous location to visit for more than one day, Timber Wolf Lodge Cabins is a tremendous location to camp nearby, and probably you're looking for close by lakes? Sure, Bear Head Lake is just a very short distance away. This lake is so wonderful.
