Hiking along the Valley River Trail is wonderful fun, and Candy Lake is a perfect lake nearby. High temperatures at Spring Lake all through the       summertime months are in the 70's while nighttime lows are generally in the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 10's, and after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Spring Lake sink into the-20's.
