And if that's not enough, there's a heap more to do right next door to Spring Lake. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Spring Lake; Valley River Trail is a magnificent local trail. Spring Lake gets a typical amount of annual rainfall; of all the months in a year June is the one with the most rain, and February on the other hand is the driest. Summer brings highs in the 70's to Spring Lake while night lows are mostly in       the 50's. During the winter highs are ordinarily in the 10's; after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Spring Lake fall into the-20's. Paddling on Big Fork is so much fun. There's so much to do here at Spring Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Thistledew Campground is a perfect place for that. This lake is so wonderful. Not far from Spring Lake, you'll discover Beaver Lake which is a beautiful lake; Country Inn By Carlson Grand Rapids                  is a brilliant place to get some rest. Good hiking is available along the Holstrum Spur Trail. Lakes are great; Elbow Lake is a lake that's right next door to Spring Lake.
