Through the summer at Spring Lake temperatures are ordinarily in the 70's. Summer night lows plunge down to the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 10's; through the dark hours in the wintertime at Spring Lake temperatures fall to the-20's. Spring Lake gets a typical amount of annual rain; the month of June is the wettest with most of the rain, and February meanwhile is the driest month. And       if that's not enough, there's heaps more to do in close proximity to Spring Lake. After a long day outdoors Country Inn By Carlson Grand Rapids is a glorious place to spend a night or two; there is a wonderful hiking trail nearby called the Wilson Lake Trail. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always have a look at close by Candy Lake, and the Holstrum Spur Trail is a nice hiking trail nearby. Stony Brook Campground is a great local campground,                  and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Big Fork. This lake is so wonderful.
