     Spring Lake is a nice lake to visit. This lake is so wonderful. Take a hike on the Holstrum Spur Trail, and a great location for whitewater paddling is Little Fork River. During the warm months, highs mostly are in the 70's at Spring Lake. Summer overnight lows drop down to the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 10's with temperatures at Spring Lake dipping down into the-10's all through winter nights. Now, you may assume that's lots but there's even  
   more amusing stuff to do here at Spring Lake. Spring Lake is right by the Valley River Trail, and dry warm beds await you at Hibbing Park Hotel.
The Link Lake Trail offers hiking at its best, and if you don't mind getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Sturgeon River. Camping is available at Stony Brook Campground, and if you're here, you could also stop by beautiful Louis Peloquin Wildlife Impoundment Reservoir. A magnificent place to camp
 
               here at Spring Lake is Thistledew Campground; you'll locate a pretty lake called Wamp Lake.
The annual rainfall here at Spring Lake is about average; the month with most of the rain is June; February is the month with the least moisture.
