In Minnesota there are many beautiful lakes, Spirit Lake is one of them. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this place. Camping is available at Indian Point Campground, and for you golfers we recommend close by Enger Golf Course. This lake is so wonderful. There are plenty of folks from Duluth here at Spirit Lake; if you came for an overnight stay Skyline Terrace is a wonderful place to camp. This lake is so wonderful. There are some glorious whitewater spots on Black River, and a glorious nearby hotel is Red Roof Inn Duluth Spirit Mountain. The amount of precipitation that falls at Spirit Lake is close to the national average; through the month of June you get the most rain around here while February is generally the driest month. Kingsbury Creek flows through this vicinity, and there's whitewater on St. Louis River for all you adrenaline people.

Eagle's Nest Resort doesn't have any campsites for rent but they do have nice cabins instead....This is great publicity but I am wondering how this information was put on the internet. We are always listed as a resort with cabin rentals. our 7 site seasonal campground that has not had an opening for several years, so it is never listed under campgrounds. Sorry for the misinformation, just curious as to where it was recieved. ... |
