Spirit Lake is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. At Spirit Lake during the long summer days highs are in the 70's, and during the night it cools down to the 50's. Daytime highs through the wintertime are in the 10's; nighttime lows at Spirit Lake through the winter usually fall into the-10's. This lake is so wonderful. A brilliant nearby hotel is Red Roof Inn Duluth Spirit Mountain, and glide down the rapids of St. Louis River in a kayak.

An afternoon playing golf at Enger Golf Course is always a joy, and get drenched paddling on Black River. and if you're popping by from Duluth, you won't be the only one. Spirit Lake gets a normal amount of rainfall; of all the months in a year June is the one with the most rain while February is typically the driest month.
