The annual precipitation here at Spike Lake is about average; through June this area sees the most rain, and February on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Camping is available at North Star Campground, and camping at Spider Shores Resort       is always a glorious experience. Through the summer months at Spike Lake temperatures are regularly in the 70's. During the dark hours of summer temperatures sink down into the 50's. During the winter highs are frequently in the 10's, and through the dark hours in the winter at Spike Lake temperatures sink to the-20's. Deer Creek is a nice place to have a look at, and the landscape is dominated by the Harrington Hills. Going for a hike on the Wilson Lake Trail                  is always a nice adventure; why not stop by Busties Lake Dam since you're here. Near Spike Lake you discover the Cutfoot Sioux Trail which is a delightful hiking trail; whitewater paddling is nice on Big Fork. Yeah, come here to Spike Lake for a nice time.
