If you come at the right time of year, Cascade River offers some glorious whitewater,       and dry warm beds await you at Best Western Superior Inn & Suites. Summer brings highs in the 70's to Spen Lake. During the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 50's. All through the winter highs are in the 10's, and winter nights come with lows in the-10's to Spen Lake. A typical amount of precipitation falls here at Spen Lake; during August this area sees the most rain, and February is the month with the least moisture.
