This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is good on Devil Track River, and a journey to Johnson Falls will fill your spirit with pleasant feelings. Lakes are fine; Parsnip Lake is a lake that's right next door to South Bean Lake, and there is a perfect hiking       trail nearby called the Great Cherry Portage. A good close by hotel is Best Western Superior Inn & Suites, and since you're here you can take a hike along the Lesser Cherry Portage. This lake is so wonderful. This is a magnificent area for folks who like lakes. Bean Lake is a lake close by, and on a great day you can take a hike along the Vaseux Portage. Brule River has a fine whitewater paddling spot nearby, and if you came for an overnight stay Kimball Lake                  Campground is a great place to camp.
