So many exciting things to do at Someman Lake, so little time. Going for a hike on the Wilson Lake Trail is always a great adventure; you're most likely into lakes, Hartley Lake is one of those close by. This lake is so wonderful. Stay the night at Jko Campground, and there are perfect spots to explore along the Skeeter Lake
Trail System. Someman Lake is located in the Mesabi Range. For the period of the summertime at Someman Lake temperatures are typically in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures dip down into the 50's. For the period of the winter highs are in the 10's; winter nights come with lows in the-20's to Someman Lake.

There is plenty to do at the resort too. Swan Lake is known for its water clarity throughout the summer. Fishing is almost always good with a healthy supply of sunfish, crappies, northern and walleyes. Largemouth bass are definitely the most sought after fish the past few years with most of them released again after they are weighed and their picture is taken for our ''fishing report'' board. Our swimming area is safely marked off with no dangerous drop offs. We have plenty of sand for sunbathing and sandcastle building.
When you're not in or on the water you can play volleyball, badminton, ''fun'' frisbee golf, basketball, pitch horseshoes or play bocce ball.
