This lake is so wonderful. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Poplar River. Lutsen is a delightful local ski area. Lakes are perfect; Copper Lake is a lake that's close to Snipe Lake. High temperatures at Snipe Lake through the summer months are in the 70's while night lows are generally in the 50's. All through the winter this place gets highs in the       10's, and overnight lows at Snipe Lake during the wintertime frequently sink into the-10's. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the exciting things at Snipe Lake. Take a hike on the Pine Portage, and if you need a spot to stay Caribou Highlands Lodge is a good choice. Some nearby water includes Dawkins Creek, and if you came for an overnight stay Baker Lake Campground is a nice location to camp. This lake is so wonderful. Not far from Snipe                  Lake, you'll locate Mavis Lake which is a beautiful lake; why not camp at Gunflint Pines since you're here at Snipe Lake. Glide down the rapids of Temperance River in a kayak, and hiking along the Granite River Portage is great fun.
