If the weather is great here at Slim Lake, you can go for a hike along the Beatty Portage; after a long day outdoors Elbow Lake Lodge is a nice site to spend a night or two. The amount of rainfall that falls at Slim Lake is close to the national average; the month of June is the wettest with most of the rain; the driest month is February. This lake is so wonderful.
