At Sixth Lake all through the warmest time of the year highs are in the 70's. Summer overnight lows descend down to the 50's. All through the winter highs are in the 10's, and throughout the dark hours in the winter at Sixth Lake temperatures drop to the-10's. The Howard Lake Trail       is a great hiking trail close to Sixth Lake; dry warm beds await you at Chase on the Lake Resort. This lake is so wonderful. Camping is available at Quietwoods Campground and Resort, and close to Sixth Lake you come across a golf course called Tianna Country Club. On a delightful day at Sixth Lake you can take a hike along the Heartland Trail. But wait, there's more to do in close proximity to Sixth Lake. If you get bored of Sixth Lake, you could also                  stop by close by Ten Lake, and do stop by Kaylor Fishpond Dam if you're here. Sixth Lake gets very little rainfall; the wettest month of the year is commonly June, that's the one that rains the most while February is generally the driest month.
