Be careful coming to Silver       Lake, you might not ever wanna go home again. Camping at Golden Acres is always a great experience; if you've had enough of Silver Lake, Louise Lake is close by. This lake is so wonderful. Americinn - Stillwater, Mn is a great site to get some rest; Sawmill Golf Club is a perfect golf course nearby. You could also check out Loon Lake since you're here at Silver Lake; it's close by; a splendid nearby hotel is Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites STILLWATER.                  For the period of the summer months here at Silver Lake, high temperatures frequently get into the 80's. Throughout the moonlight hours it's usually in the 60's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 20's, and through the dark hours in the winter at Silver Lake temperatures drop to the 0's. Afton Alps has splendid slopes and a friendly staff, and Wild Mountain is a very popular ski area in close proximity.
