Silver Lake is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. The yearly rain here at Silver Lake is about average; August is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest month is February. Go for a hike on the Rib Lake Trail. You're most likely keen on lakes, Christine Lake is one of those close by, and there are delightful places to explore along the Honeymoon Trail.

| | site to do that; you can run the rapids of Temperance River. Caribou Highlands Lodge is a fine place to get some rest; get your heart beating on the fine whitewater of Poplar River. There's so much to do here at Silver Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Crescent Lake Campground is a splendid spot for that; don't leave Silver Lake without first going for a hike along the North Shore State Trail.

Lake get into the 70's. All through the moonlight hours it's commonly in the 50's. Highs through the winter are ordinarily in the 10's while the cold winter nights at Silver Lake are in the-10's. And if that's not enough, there's
loads more to do close to Silver Lake. Dry warm beds await you at Americinn - Tofte, Mn, and if you like skiing, you're in luck; Lutsen is reasonably near.
