Hiking is a popular thing to do around Silver Lake; Rib Lake Trail is a perfect local trail; if you need a site to stay Caribou Highlands Lodge is a pleasant choice. This lake is so wonderful. Silver Lake is a good spot of normal rainfall; the month of August is the wettest with       most of the rain while February is regularly the driest month. All the outdoors entertaining things right next door to Silver Lake will keep you coming back persistently. If you like skiing, you're in luck; Lutsen is close to Silver Lake, and a delightful close by hotel is Americinn - Tofte, Mn. You're in all probability interested in lakes, Bulge Lake is one of those close by; camping at Crescent Lake Campground is always a fine experience. This lake is                  so wonderful. Good hiking is available along the Honeymoon Trail, and a magnificent place for whitewater paddling is Temperance River. Summertime brings highs in the 70's to Silver Lake, and all through the night it cools down to the 50's. For the period of the wintertime this place gets highs in the 10's, and after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Silver Lake dip into the-10's.
