During the months of summer at Side Lake highs are generally in the 70's. Throughout the moonlight hours it's usually in the 50's. For the duration of the winter highs are in the 10's; through the dark hours in the winter at Side Lake temperatures descend to the-10's. If you have a thing about the outdoors you'll have a thing about it here in the Mesabi Range. Dry warm beds await you at Hibbing       Super 8 Motel. Lakes are good; Sturgeon Lake is a lake that's close to Side Lake. There is a great hiking trail right next door to Side Lake called the Stingy Lake Trail; paddling on Sturgeon River is so much fun. Be careful coming to Side Lake, you might not ever want to return home again. C C Campground 717 is a brilliant campground nearby, and going for a hike on the Link Lake Trail is always a brilliant adventure. On a fine day at Side Lake you can take                  a hike along the Snake Trail, and Sturgeon Lake Dam is a location that is next to Side Lake. This lake is located in the wonderful Mesabi Range. This place, the Mesabi Range, has so much outdoors amusing things. Pine Beach Resort RV Park is a good local campground, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always stop at close by Pickerel Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Get soaked paddling on Little Fork River, and Hibbing Park Hotel is a glorious site to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful.
