Lakes are good; Dewey Lake is a lake that's close to Shoepack Lake, and going for a hike along the Snake Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood. This lake is so wonderful. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always stop at close by McCormack Lake; get your pulse rate up on the magnificent whitewater of Sturgeon River. Life's too short to enjoy all the fun       stuff in close proximity to Shoepack Lake. Shoepack Lake is delightful enough to spend more than a day at, C C Campground 717 is a delightful local campground; the Link Lake Trail is a nice hiking trail close by. The Mesabi Range scenery is always beautiful. This lake is so wonderful. If the weather is perfect here at Shoepack Lake, you can go for a hike along the Stingy Lake Trail, and if you need a location to stay Hibbing Super 8 Motel is a splendid choice.                  You'll really wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the fun stuff in the Mesabi Range. There's so much to do here at Shoepack Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Pine Beach Resort RV Park is a pleasant spot for that, and a quick tour to Shannon River is without doubt a tremendous idea. High temperatures at Shoepack Lake all through the warm months are in the 70's. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 50's. Daytime highs through the winter are in the 10's with winter lows in the-10's overnight here at Shoepack Lake. From a precipitation point of view Shoepack Lake is a rather typical place; June is when you get the most rain here, and February is the month with the least moisture.
