On a pleasant day at Shingobee Lake you can take a hike along the Heartland Trail; a good place to camp here at Shingobee Lake is Timberlost Resort. High temperatures at Shingobee       Lake during the months of summer are in the 70's while night lows are regularly in the 50's. Highs during the winter are generally in the 10's while Shingobee Lake overnight low temperatures through the winter are in the-10's.
