This lake is so wonderful. Looking for something near Shannon Lake? Shoepack Lake is in the neighborhood, and you can have a nice hiking adventure along the Snake Trail. Now, you may assume that's a lot but there's even more enjoyable stuff to do here in the Mesabi Range. While you're here at Shannon Lake you can take a hike along the Stingy Lake Trail, and Pine Beach Resort RV Park is a brilliant campground nearby.       From a rain point of view Shannon Lake is a rather common place; June is the month that gets the most rain, and February on the other hand is the driest. Hibbing Super 8 Motel is a wonderful place to get some rest, and you can stay the night at C C Campground 717. The Mesabi Range scenery is always beautiful. Whohoo, so much amusing stuff in one place! The Mesabi Range is excellent!
