The beauty of Shannon Lake is reason enough to stop by. This lake is one of the great places here in the Mesabi Range. This place, Shannon Lake, it completely has so much outdoors fun stuff. A lake nearby is Hobson Lake, and Hibbing Super 8 Motel is a great place to get some rest. Through the warmest time of the year highs here at Shannon Lake reach the 70's. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 50's. Daytime highs during the wintertime

| | are in the 10's with temperatures at Shannon Lake dipping down into the-10's through winter nights.
If you want a delightful time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Mesabi Range. Perch Lake is a nearby lake that you could stop at, and if you came to camp Pine Beach Resort RV Park is a pleasant site to do that. River. Shannon Lake is nice enough to spend more than a day at, C C Campground 717 is a nice local campground, and you can have a nice hiking adventure along the Stingy Lake Trail.
This lake is so wonderful. A great close by hotel
is Hibbing Park Hotel, and do take a hike on the Snake Trail. These mountains rock, just check out all the cool stuff to do in the Mesabi Range. There's whitewater on Little Fork River for all you adrenaline kick people. Shannon Lake
is a good location of typical rain; the month of June is the wettest with most of the rain, and February is when it's the driest.
