A good location to camp here at Shady Lake is Mac's Park Place; Comfort Inn is a perfect place to get some rest. A common amount of rain falls here at Shady Lake; of all the months in a year July is the one with the most rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful. Shady Lake is good enough to spend more than a day at, Tilly's American Travelers RV Resort       is a good local campground; lots of people from Rochester come here. Take a side tour to South Branch Middle Fork Zumbro River; Zumbro Lake is a delightful lake close by. So much amusing stuff to do at Shady Lake, so little time. Summer at Shady Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 50's. Throughout the winter highs are frequently in the 20's; after the sun is down through the winter temperatures                  at Shady Lake sink into the 0's.
