There's just no way anybody can get bored here at Section One Lake. A splendid place to camp here at Section One Lake is Savanna Portage State Park. Section One Lake is fine enough to spend more than a day at, C J's Corral is a fine local campground, and whitewater paddling is wonderful on Kettle River. A normal amount of precipitation falls       here at Section One Lake; June is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest month of the year is February. This lake is so wonderful. Do stop at Mattlia Lake close to Section One Lake, it's a charming lake, and going for a hike along the Giese Truck Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area. High temperatures at Section One Lake throughout the warm days of summer are in the 80's, and through the night it cools down to the 50's. For                  the period of the wintertime highs are commonly in the 10's while the cold winter nights at Section One Lake are in the-10's.
