Sure, Sea Lake is in the vicinity. Blue waters Leisure Park is a great local campground; do take a hike on the Sunrise Ferry Hiking Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Third Lake is a magnificent lake near Second Lake, and Americinn - Forest Lake, Mn is a nice spot to get some rest. Get your heart pumping on the delightful whitewater of Apple River, and why not head up       to Wild Mountain and strap some skis to your feet. At Second Lake through the warm months highs are in the 80's, and during the night it cools down to the 60's. All through the winter highs are ordinarily in the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Second Lake. Saint Croix National Scenic River is one of the destinations in close proximity to Second Lake that are perfect to go to; a brilliant swamp near Second Lake is Pine Lake. This lake                  is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend St. Croix River; if you need a spot to stay Americas Best Value Inn is a pleasant choice. If you want to play some golf, you're in luck because Chisago Lakes Golf Course is close at hand, and a day on the slopes of Trollhaugen is just what you need.
