The beauty of Scooty Lake attracts many people from all around. Scooty Lake gets a typical amount of rain; through July this area sees the most rain, and February is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful. Have a splendid hiking adventure along the Wasson Lake Trail. Lakes? Sure, Someman Lake is nearby. All through the warmest time of the year highs here at Scooty Lake reach the 70's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's.

There is plenty to do at the resort too. Swan Lake is known for its water clarity throughout the summer. Fishing is almost always good with a healthy supply of sunfish, crappies, northern and walleyes. Largemouth bass are definitely the most sought after fish the past few years with most of them released again after they are weighed and their picture is taken for our ''fishing report'' board. Our swimming area is safely marked off with no dangerous drop offs. We have plenty of sand for sunbathing and sandcastle building.
When you're not in or on the water you can play volleyball, badminton, ''fun'' frisbee golf, basketball, pitch horseshoes or play bocce ball. All recreational ... |
