Near Scooty Lake you find the Wasson Lake Trail which is a fine hiking trail; if you get bored of Scooty Lake you could also go to close by Hartley Lake. Yeah, come here to Scooty Lake for a good time. Scooty Lake is pleasant enough to spend more than a day at, Thistledew Campground is a pleasant local campground. From a rain point of view Scooty Lake is a relatively typical location; the month with most of the rain is July, and February is when it's the driest.

This lake is located in the wonderful Mesabi Range. This lake is so wonderful. A pleasant place
to camp here at Scooty Lake is Jko Campground, and going for a hike on the Wilson Lake Trail is always a good adventure.

All recreational equipment can be checked out at no charge. Our game room is always busy with kids playing pinball or pool. At our convenience store you'll be able to pick up basic groceries, ice cream, pizzas, snacks, ice, fishing licenses, tackle, and night crawlers. We also carry unleaded gas and motor oil. We have hiking trails up through the woods and a playground for the little ones. The paved Central Lakes Trail goes right by us, so bring your bikes. Our paddleboats, kayaks ... |
